Letter From Secretary General
Esteemed Delegates,
It is with great pleasure that I announce the forthcoming Özkent Akbilek Science High School Model United Nations Conference. As the Secretary General of this prestigious event, I extend my profound gratitude to all those who have provided support and assistance throughout the challenging process of organizing this conference. If it would be convenient for you, I would very much appreciate your attendance at the conference, which is scheduled to take place on the 11th, 12th, and 13th of April at Özkent Akbilek Science High School.
Allow me to introduce myself. I am Ecem Buse KOÇAK, and I am currently enrolled in the 11th grade at the aforementioned institution. In reflecting on my journey thus far, I recognize the young girl who aspired to attend numerous Model United Nations conferences with the aim of expanding her understanding of international diplomacy and forging new friendships. I have now assumed the role of President of my school's MUN club. I recall being approached by my advisors, Eda Yağmur Sumer and Berke Sönmez, who inquired whether I would be interested in assuming the role of Secretary General the following year. I must admit that I was initially hesitant, but they convinced me to accept. They have been instrumental in my development, imparting invaluable lessons on leadership, friendship, and numerous other aspects of life. With the invaluable guidance of my esteemed friend and Deputy Secretary General Muhammed Yiğit Kömürcü, who is not only a friend but a brother to me, we have meticulously organized this event. We have assembled a highly supportive and diligent team, and I feel immensely fortunate to have such a remarkable group of individuals by my side. Regardless of any challenges we may encounter, my team's unwavering support is all that matters to me.
Delegates, the objective of this conference is to focus on global issues, and we eagerly anticipate your innovative solutions and active participation in the committees. You will be responsible for the committees of DISEC, SOCHUM, NATO, UNICEF, JCC and HCC. It is important to remember that every decision starts with an idea, and every action creates change. Do not hesitate to be visible, and remember to enjoy the experience of meeting new people. We eagerly anticipate your presence on the 11th, 12th, and 13th of April.

Letter From Director General and Deputy Director General
As the Director General of this year's Özkent Akbilek Science High School Model United Nations Conference, I would like to welcome you to this year's conference, which will be held on April 11-12-13 at Özkent Akbilek Science High School. It is an honor to be the Director General of this incredible event, together with my wonderful and excellent organizing team.
My name is Elif Alayoğlu, and I am an 11th grade student at Özkent Akbilek Science High School. I started my MUN adventure in the 10th grade with my dear friends Ecem Buse Koçak, Selin Faiz, and Eda Ece Zeytin. I am very happy to be a part of this conference with them. First of all, I would like to thank my hardworking friends Ecem and Yiğit; without their skills and energy, we would not have been able to pull off this conference. Then, I would like to express my gratitude to Selin, who served as the Deputy Director General for this conference. Her support and assistance were instrumental in the success of the event.
We faced many challenges in organizing this conference, but together we were able to overcome them all. MUN is a conference that adds color to my life, and every time I attend it, I have fun, make good memories, and learn new things. I hope OAFLMUN’25 will be a good and enjoyable experience for you. I promise you that we will host you, our esteemed delegates, in the best way possible during these three days.
My name is Selin Faiz, and as our Director General Elif mentioned, I am the Deputy Director General of OAFLMUN’25. I am currently an 11th-grade student at Şehit Oğuzhan Yaşar High School. From the moment I began my MUN journey, I fell in love with it, and today, I am truly honored to be a part of this incredible event.
We have worked so hard and with great dedication for this conference. Our whole team was very enthusiastic and excited, and we are very proud of the outcome. I am confident that all of you will have an enjoyable and unforgettable three days here.
